     This is the increasingly hard to find original issue n3b arctic parka from the US airforce. A superb cold weather parka  which was issued until the 1980s, its availability has reduced to the occasional batch. Unlike the very first version of this parka which was issued in the 50s and was made from a shiny, nylon material, this model is made from a cotton based material and has a matt finish. It has to be said that not only does this parka look fantastic, it performs brilliantly in cold weather, as you would expect from an arctic parka. Although well padded with insulation material, it is not heavy to wear like many of the old style parkas and coats.
