Used, but still in very good condition. This is the brilliant Polartec fleece made for the US army to be worn as a mid layer in the ECWCS (Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System). The previous fleece, the 'bear' jacket was incredibly effective but very bulky, whereas this fleece retains the best thermal properties but is lighter and much less bulky. It has improved what was already the best military cold weather system on the market. It also can be worn as a fleece jacket in its own right.

      It has a full length zip at the front  and two zip closing external side pockets. The wrists are elasticated to keep out the cold and there are underarm 'pit' zips as well as pull cords to tighten the lower hem.

      Difficult to get as most servicemen want to keep theirs! Much sought after and a superb thermal fleece.
