Genuine US Army Surplus government issue

      This is the fantastic US Army ECWCS (Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System) sleep system and what we believe is the ultimate sleep system. Made by Tennier Industries Inc, it consists of 2 sleeping bags, 1 gortex woodland camo bivvy bag and 1 stuff sack. The green sleeping bag is rated 0-5F, while the black sleeping bag itself is rated to -15F .When the two bags are snapped together by virtue of snap poppers, then the 2 bags together are rated to -50F. The temperatures quoted are those stated on the bag labels and are in Farenheit, 0C is 32F therefore -50F is 82 degrees F below zero.

       The US army, in its published information, claims 4-6 hours comfortable sleep with appropriate thermal clothing at the lower temperature. We have sold these systems to Swedish soldiers on Arctic survival training, they are that good.

     This is quite simply a stunning sleep system for the money, a commercially made equivalent would cost at least double and as with all US army kit, the quality is excellent.
