      This is a pair of the British army desert camo windproof trousers in new and unissued condition. They are similar to the standard issue British army desert trousers but differ in a few key areas. The material is made from a tough but not heavy 50/50 cotton/poly mix and is tightly woven to make it windproof. As they can be worn as an overtrouser, the legs have openings held closed by velcro so they can be pulled on over boots. The hip slash pockets are not pockets, rather a velcro flap to access underclothing if necessary. But they have a button closing side cargo pocket on each leg as well as a single rear pocket. Zip fly as well. 

       The stated size on these trousers is a 96cm (38 ins) waist and 76cm (30ins) leg but as they are made as an overtrouser, they are cut slightly wider and longer by about an inch on both dimensions. The OUTSIDE leg measurement from hip to end of leg is 42 ins. There are  waist adjusters on each side to reduce the waist size by up to 2 inches and also leg ties.

       This a superb pair of trousers for the price, it would still be superb at twice the price.

Whether worn as a normal trouser or an overtrouser, they are tough and durable without being heavy.
